The Notebook- It's not that brilliant

Saturday, February 14, 2009

This 2004-released film isn't as much brilliant as I expect. The story start at an old man reading a notebook to an amnesia patient in a nursing house. At a summer, Noah fall in love with a girl who came traveling to his town. They have much fun because their relationship's so perfect that they're not separable. Allie's parent however did not support their relationship due to make reasonable of Allie's prosperous family background. It's quite usual under the movie settings or cultural process that lower-class is quite hard to approach high-classes. It's not important. Their love like never perished though Allie engaged to someone. After all Allie came back to his side again.

Okay, i have no much words to describe this simple movie-it's not a praise. Comparing to some similar movies to link up the past stories through a person's reading or telling such as The Curious Case of Benjamin Button or Atonement, this movie is too simple to be an outstanding film. Perhaps it's a classic e but it could only be at that time.

I love Titanic more. There's luxuriously gigantic ship going to sink together with several pianists was willing to play pieces to comfort, the fireworks and chilly ices make you feel pathetic to the characters...I think I watched too much romantic movies-should stop for a period. a piece of movies

About the Letter I've received

Friday, February 13, 2009
Apart from the relationship with her, the letter seems so special to me during these normal days. I must admit that this letter, far from Taiwan with a yellow envelope can bring exciting impacts. Nowadays numerous communication media are perhaps disapprovingly influencing our life and thus we forget what we should cherish. Convenience is alike in a sense to elimination of enthusiasm.

Okay I'm not gotta debate or trying to elaborate my points on the influences of mass media.

This letter's about future life if I'm really needed to summary these three letters (There are three letters written at different time but sent at once). I could imagine that she is leading a less-desired life now. So it's nothing more than planning to other countries, either studying or traveling in this letter. I'm planning as well. My Taiwan trip and US University life. We couldn't stop thinking and rethinking what our life gonna be. It's like that we will have different views to our life as we keep learning of new things. It isn't said that we couldn't be satisfied but we're changing all the time. This should be encouraged. Nonetheless we still stick together to a frame that our relationship's being retained so well though we have new minds. Couldn't I feel glad to that?

Ya, we will soon have a totally distinct lifestyle comparing with how we're living now. Hope we could seek what could truly gratify us in the future. a fragment of continuing life

Revolutionary Road: Valentine's day is coming

I don't know at first why Verycd.com has put Revolutionary Road as a must-watch movie on Valentine's day. After having watched, i realize this movie will memorably appeal to any lovers if they spend two hours of that day to watch it.

I don't agree that this plot of this movie remains old-fashioned to express a family matter after all. Instead, it could be impressed by the dialogue, facial expression of a young couple- Frank Wheeler (Leornado) and April Wheeler (Kate). First scene in the beginning of this movie describes April's dismal of the lousy character she played for, and they quarrel (actually Frank trigger this quarrel but obviously he's trying to care about her by solving problems). On the second scene, this couple's trying to escape from hopeless emptieness but they've failed because of having a new child. Last Scene is about Scrambled Egg.

Leornado is a great actor who I can grasp lot of emotional feelings through his face and actions. I will ask why he wasn't nominated in Oscar Award? Michael Shannon played a nice supporting actor to illustrate the circumstance that having a new child doesn't matter moving to Paris-to have a new lifestyle. I'm wondering what Frank really want- a new promoted job or Paris life? After several quarrels as April's wandering in the jungle or keep smoking against the tree, it could easily be led into the pathenic situation that their love seems fading. The day after everything's unlikely restored to normal. However the little metaphor traced a tragedy-maybe like Shannon said ' I'm glad not gonna be the child';the child is the non-existed victim. I believed April still love him. She has just accidentally done wrong.

Perhaps Valentine's day should be spent on romantic candle-light dinner or immersed yourself in a completely enjoyable love-dating. In fact, Verycd.com put this movie as Valentine's day movies might indicate that something must be treasured by any couples. I've not been any relationship yet but I know love isn't just what about satisfication to a man's desires.

This movie is the best movie I've watched so far in 2009. Below are some movies i watched recently which worth to be watched (indicating my favourite list):
  1. Barcelona at midnight
  2. The reader
  3. Seven Pounds
  4. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button a piece of movies

A Welcome Sheet

Wouldn't say welcome
unless you take your time to read my words

Wouldn't say welcome
unless you take your time to think about my words and who really I'm

Wouldn't say welcome
unless a preoccupation happens to you for a moment or just a few seconds

Touchily impressed by your sincerity. Even I don't know who you're.
